Barbie for President
Barbie rocks, Superkids. She was bold enough to run for the president and she meant it. Not the president who lead the nation though, it’s the class president. The process was pretty much the same with how Indonesia is looking for president these days.
Barbie’s classmate Raquelle shared the same goal. She wanted to be the class president just like Barbie. Well,that’s fine, it meant that they would compete for the position. The jury were the rest of the class. They could choose to vote either for Barbie or Raquelle. The one with the most votes should have the job. Now, what would it takes for them to vote for Barbie?
She made a speech, telling everyone what she will do as the president. “I will provide healthier lunch,” said Barbie. Raquelle on the other side had a different idea. “I will throw more dance parties,” she said.
On the election day, everyone had a voting sheet. It’s a sheet with names and pictures of the candidate president, Barbie and Raquelle. One by one voter went into a small chamber to put mark on the one they chose for the president. The sheets were then collected into a box. After everyone was done, teachers gathered to count the votes.
Barbie got the most votes. Hoorray…!! It meant that she won and was chosen to be the class president. Barbie and Raquelle had competed well, Superkids. Barbie asked Raquelle to be her vice. How did Raquelle respond? She accepted it. Together they shall make a great team to lead the class becoming better.
