Printed book hardcore fans claim, there’s nothing like the smell of the paper and soft sound of the pages turning over. On the other side, e-bookers feel very helped because they don’t need to carry the heavy books around. Yes, it’s true, everything has the advantages. We got to decide which one is best for us. Here are some reason why people go for e-book and printed book.
E-Books:
Travel. If we are always on the move, we sure are familiar with how much trouble it is to carry many books. Let alone if we always switch one book to another. E-book make it easier to carry the whole library anywhere without burden.
Storage. People who collect book sure know how much space is needed to keep them. With e-book, those book are placed into a small tablet or phone. This sure helps save place, and prevent the book from being damage or misplace.
Price. E-book is usually cheaper because it doesn’t need printed cost. In fact, we can get e-book for free. Printed book takes more money and time to stop by the to a bookstore and look among dozens of racks.
Speed. To purchase an e-book is very instant. It’s pay and get. Much lesser time than to buy book at store, or online shop (because there is delivery days of waiting time). We can get e-book at almost 80 online store all over the globe.
Reading Comfort. With e-book, we can change the font or adjust the illumination as we like.
Printed Books:
Reselling Value. Much like download music, there’s no way to resell wasted electronic book. It’s another story with printed books that we can still resell it when we are done with them.
No Tools Needed. It doesn’t take computer or tablet to enjoy a book. When we are in a small town and internet signal is hard to reach, we sure will find ourselves in trouble to get an e-book. But we can always stop by to a local bookstore and buy the recent collection.
No power. No need to look for plug in to recharge power. We still can read without battery.
Tradition. For some people, the scent of book is irreplaceable. In fact, old book smells better for them.
