Fun and Inspiring School Attack at Madania Elementary School
“The activities brought by Superkids to our school was fun and inspiring the kids to become creative and introduce them to photography.”
The opinion belonged to Rina Shanti Chan, Teacher Student Affair VP of Madania Elementary School, Bogor, during School Attack visit at Madania Elementary School, Bogor (28/11). The atmosphere of joy, loud and fun filled the air when road show School Attack Superkids Indonesia with Canon came to Madania Elementary School, and was greeted with warm welcome by both students and teachers.
In here, students of grade 4 and 5 were given short photography workshop from Canon, “Shoot and Print”. There were about 80 students in the program. They gathered in a classroom to listen to proper shooting tips with team canon. There are actually four basics that photographer must well understand, it’s how to handle the camera properly, image composition, illumination and angle.
“Good composition but you don’t handle the camera properly, the image will be blurred. Enough light without good angle, same story,” Marketing Executive Image Communication Product Division Canon, Asa Theodorus Fanuel Prayogi, whos’s familiar with nickname Kak Edo shared tips.
After the briefing, students went straight to hunt for images around the school. The results were then printed directly using Pixma printer and original Canon photo paper. Kak Edo also gave some explanation the required pictures are landscpae images free of theme . The best picture was rewarded special prize from Canon and a package from Superkids Indonesia and Susu Ultra Jaya.
Upon seeing the enthusiasm, the loud and the fun of students over the activity, surely School Attack wouldn’t stop there. School Attack still has bigger programs for the upcoming events. Just wait for them at your school, Superkids. Interested?
