Student Creativity at SDI Raudhah’s School Attack

Road show of School Attack Superkids Indonesia with Canon arrived at SDI Raudhah BSD, Tangerang last week (31/10). Teachers and students alike were happy welcoming this very beneficiary activity.

There were about 200 students who took part in this School Attack event, from grade IV, V and VI. It’s fun and sensational. These kids were given firsthand experience joining in the photography workshop of “Shoot and Print”. They were gathering at the school mosque and seriously listening to the tips of taking a shoot properly with the Canon team. Actually there are only four points a photographer must know. They are the best way of holding the camera, picture composition, illumination, and angle

“Good composition but handling the camera badly, the image will be blurred. Good light but wrong angle, same story,” Marketing Executive Image Communication Product Division Canon, Asa Theodorus Fanuel Prayogi, or known well as Kak Edo, explained.

After the briefing, students wasted no time and scattered around the chamber to hunt for good images. The results went straight to Pixma printer, and printed on Canon original photo paper. The best picture gained special goodiebag package from Canon. Kak Edo shared some tips that the photos are high angle with bright colors. The best work was rewarded special present from Canon and Superkids Indonesia.

17 were groups taking part in the event, and they all did very good work in term of quality and art. Team Canon and Superkids Indonesia were led puzzled to decide which one is the best. This situation called for participation of teachers of SDI Raudhah into the selection. The group emerged as the best was the one that chose angle of reading in the park with umbrella background. Teachers  agreed that the picture had education values coming out from the idea.

Such a feat from students of SDI Raudhah. And School Attack still has more program in reserve for later. Just wait for them at your school, Superkids. fancy of taking part in this very creative event?
