The Fun of School Attack at Al-Aziiz SDIT
Last week (29/10), road show School Attack Superkids Indonesia with Canon came back to SDIT, East Bekasi. Teachers and students alike were happy welcoming this very beneficiary activity. One of the parents Lubena Ali revealed in her personal blog. She was Ali’s mother, a four grade student who also took part at School Attack.
“My son Ali and his friends at Al-Aziiz SDIT Eastern Bekasi had been buzzing since morning. It’s about Superkids Indonesia and Canon team are coming to teach them photography. The news was already all over this fullday school,” Lubena said in her personal blog.
There were about 150 students who took part in this School Attack event, from grade IV, V and VI. It’s fun and sensational. These kids got firsthand experience joining in the photography workshop of “Shoot and Print”. They were so serious listening to the tips of taking a shoot properly with the Canon team. Actually there are only four points a photographer must know. They are the best way of holding the camera, picture composition, illumination, and angle.
“Good composition but handling the camera badly, the image will be blurred. Good light but wrong angle, same story,” Marketing Executive Image Communication Product Division Canon, Asa Theodorus Fanuel Prayogi, or known well as Kak Edo, explained.
After the briefing, students wasted no time and scattered around the chamber to hunt for good images. The results went straight to Pixma printer, and printed on Canon original photo paper. The best picture gained special goodiebag package from Canon. Kak Edo shared some tips that the photos are low angle with blue. The best work was rewarded special present from Canon and Superkids Indonesia.
Funny thing was, most of Al Aziiz SDIT students shot the blue car in the area. Although some creative students went for angle of mosque from quite below, giving the blue sky on the background. That was paid off because their photos were selected as the winner. These students were the group 8, Namira, Cahya, Reza, Cut, Yuninda, Najwa, Salwa, Vio dan Vira.
Judging the warm welcome, the loud, happiness and the fun of students in this event, surely School Attack will not stop there. It still had some more explosive program in reserve for the near future. Just wait for them at your school, Superkids. Interested?
