Smart and Educative School Attack at SDI Harapan Ibu
“Amazing program/activities smart, activities educated & intertaint. Develop the content of program more and more especially in life skills.”
Those were words spoken by Dra. Shofiyah Sahal M.Pd, Vice Principle SD Islam Harapan Ibu, Pondok Pinang, Jakarta Selatan, during the road show School Attack Superkids Indonesia with Canon visited SDI Harapan Ibu (26/11). Teachers and students alike greeted warm welcome to this positive activity for students.
Here, students of grade 4,5, and 6 were presented with short photography workshop from Canon, “Shoot and Print”’ There were around 120 students taking part in the activity. They gathered around in the school hall to listen the tips of proper shooting with team Canon. Actually, there are only four key subjects to master for a photographer. It’s how to handle the camera properly, image composition, illumination and angle.
“Good composition but you don’t handle the camera properly, the image will be blurred. Enough light without good angle, same story,” the Marketing Executive Image Communication Product Division Canon, Asa Theodorus Fanuel Prayogi, or known well as Kak Edo, gave tips.
After the briefing, students rushed to scatter around the school yard to hunt for good shoot. The pictures were then printed using Pixma printer and Canon original Photopaper. Kak Edo explained that required photo was landscape. Unfortunately, the weather turned a bit unfriendly that day. Pouring rain started to fall. But that wasn’t enough to break these superkids of SDI Harapan Ibu. The best image was rewarded a special package from Canon and prize of Superkids Indonesia from Susu Ultra Jaya.
Every group took pictures with nice art and high sense of creativity. It made team Canon and Superteachers of SDI Harapan Ibu confused as to choose the most creative one. Eventually they agreed on the group that took angle of motorcycles lining up on the parking lot. According to teachers, it showed artistic value out of the idea behind it.
