Reusable Water Bottles for School
Just as school bag and lunch box, a good bottle for drink is crucial. If the bottle is good, we don’t have to buy a new one every year. If it’s bad, a couple of time and it will break or leak. Sure we have seen lunch boxes equipped with the bottle in stores. They may come out cheap, Superkids, but not necessarily free BPA products. So, better look for really good and long lasting products.
What a good quality water bottle looks like?
- It should be easy to open-close. Kids should be able to open and close the lid safely. Why? Because we are going to take it school, not use it at home. So, look for bottle with tight lid, but easy to use by kids like us.
- The mouth is wide. It will be easier to wash all the way in. We can also put ice cube in if we feel like want to have cold water.
- Double safety lids. If we want bottle with straw, look for one with extra seal. It will prevent the water leaking out or spilled when moved around.
- Safe material. How to tell this? Look for bottle with free BPA lable, it could be plastic, stainless or aluminum.
- Not too big. Just how much we drink at school? How many liters do we need to stay fresh during school hours? Bottle does come out in many sizes. Some are for adults, others are for kids. An oversize bottle won’t fit a school bag. And there will be much water left when the school is over. So just pick the size we need.
- Portable. It will be easier if the bottle comes with some hook that we can hang onto the carabineer. Or look for ones with handle long enough to hang on the shoulder. We know that sometimes our school bag is full with note books, writing stuffs and lunch box.
