Astor of Flannel
Astor is the crunchy snack we can get anywhere. It may be too much for us (and need mom to interfere) to have a full jar for afternoon movie. But we can make the imitation just to play with or put on display.
Just choose; chocolate, strawberry or pandan flavour, Superkids?
Ingredients
Dark brown flannel
Light brown flannel
Bright green flannel
White bone flannel
Pink flannel
Balloon straw
Tools
Glue
Scissor
Pen
Ruler
Step #1
Make strips on the flannel, 25 cm long and 1 cm wide.
Step #2
Cut the lines off. Separate the dark brown and light brown for chocolate flavour, green and white for pandan, pink and white for strawberry.
Step #3
Cut the straw 15 cm.
Step #4
Stick the flannel to the tip of the straw. Line them up; light brown on top, dark brown on the bottom.
Step #5
Roll wrap around the straw. Apply glue at the bottom, no need to glue all flannel.
Step #6
Put into a jar. Close, seal tight. People will mistake it for real astor to eat.
