Make Your Own Accessories
Clay can be transformed into decorative headbands, clips, brooches, rings, tissue boxes and others. You may sell them once it’s done. Kids would love them. There’s no such thing as wrong shape. This is art, no rules on the shaping. So, do not be afraid, be creative!
Things to prepare
Clay
Baby oil
Small scissors
Clear spray paint
Step #1
To make snail, draw a thick line roll it outside in. Attach a snail house. Make two small for eye balls and another thick lines as the legs.
Step #2
Drain it. Be patient, wait until completely dried to get a less vulnerable result.
Step #3
Spray with spray paint to make it shiny.
Step #4
Solidify it with glue gun or PVAC glue.
Tips
1. Keep the clay in a tightly covered container to avoid quickly hardens.
2. Prior each usage, round clay in ball shape. The result will be smooth and not cracked.
3. If sticky, apply baby oil to the hands.
