There are still a few days before Ied-ul Fitr. Zakat, check. Clothes, check. Shoes, check. Wallet? Just make our own. And, we can use it daily after Ied-ul Fitr.
Material
Flannel
Kur 1 meter
Velcro
Glue gun
Step #1
Cut a 35 cm x 15 cm flannel.
Step #2
Fold lengthwise upward. The back fold must be wider to make the cover.
Step #3
Stick the bottom with glue gun. Make sure there’s no small holes there. For the side, make a small fold backward and stick together with glue gun.
Step #4
Cut a triangle pattern (or laces, as we see fit) matching the width of the wallet. Attach it on the front bottom of the wallet.
Step #5
For decoration, we can make any shape out of the flannel. Flower is the simplest one. Or to make a more personal, try creating letters of your name, or just the initial to fit the space.
Step #6
Join the decoration onto the front side of the wallet.
Step #7
Cut out a triangle cover. Attach velcro on the back to open-close the wallet.
Step #8
Make two small holes on the upper left and right of the wallet. Tuck the rope in. tie up tight.
Enjoy our style on the Holy Day.
