Nutcrackers Xmas Case
The Nutcracker tells a story about a girl named Clara who dreams of a prince who lives from a wooden Nutcracker doll. However, back in the land where Nutcracker is originated, Parthenia is suffering under the evil Mouse King reign.
The prince and the Nutcracker soldiers are trying to find the Sugar Plun fairy that can aid them against Mouse King, to restore the peaceful and happy Parthenia. The soldier inside Nutcracker is expected to inspire Superkids. Let’s make a pencil case with Nutcraker soldier model, ok!
You need:
– Carton roll tissue
– Red and green flannel
– Skin color HVS sheet (you can find in store, 25 sheets a pack)
– Eyes, golden and silver and cotton, goden tape, golden rope, dried leave
– 10 x 10 cm Duplex
– Marker
– Scissor
– Cutter
– Glue
Step #1
Fold the HVS and trace it into 4 sections, cut. Cover half part of the roll tissue, neat up.
Step #2
After being covered with HVS, you already have the torso, head and hat. Then cover the torso with flannel of your liking, red or green. Also, cover the hat with flannel of different color.
Step #3
After you have the basic form, all that’s left is to decorate it. The torso can be decorated with different color of flannel. Put some golden rope, neat up and add some beads.
Step #4
Now work on the head, put eyes and teeth. Use cotton for the moustache.
Step #5
For the hat, you can use golden tape, and add some leftover from the flannel creation.
Step #6
Cover duplex with flannel and decorate it to your taste. After that glue the nutcracker’s torso up on the duplex.
Huray….The pencil case with nutcracker soldie’s theme is done. Easy, isn’t it? It only takes some patient and creativity in decorating. Have fun, Superkids!
