Pencil Case

The creative would love the idea of recycling. Yes, we can make anything from it. One of them is pencil case. The step-by-step is easy and the materials even easier to find.  You can make them for your friends and siblings according to their favorite colors. Ready to try?

Tools & Materials:
•    Two empty toilet rolls
•    Felt
•    Zipper
•    Cardboard
•    Needle & thread or super glue
•    Scissors
•    Masking tape.

Let’s Make It!
2. Cut one of your empty rolls into 2 parts, with the ratio 1:3.

3. Join the other empty roll with the newly cut roll (the longer one!) with masking tape or scotch tape.

4. Get a piece of rectangular felt, divide it into two according to the new length of the 2 rolls (length of one with extra roll attached and length of the short leftover roll), cut it and join them back with a zipper.

5. Fold into half and sew the side.

6. Slip your toilet rolls in. Apply some glue on the outside wall of the rolls if you like

7. Get a little piece of cardboard and cut out a circle (circle’s diameter = toilet roll’s diameter). Make two of this. Use a thicker cardboard or just stack a few if you want a thicker base for your case.

8.  Add a piece of circular felt on each of them.

9.  Stitch the 2 circular pieces to the cylinder case, top and bottom. Voila!
