Forget about cellphone on our hand or ear, forget about computer or tablet on our finger. Today, smart technology can be used at other part of our body. With stylish design, we may take many benefits and at the same time, we may show up to friends.
Pebble Technology creates Pebble E-Ink watch. The smartwatch can talk to our iOS or Android smartphone via Bluetooth. So, we can keep tabs on all sorts of stuff, feeding us caller ID, SMS/e-mail, and alerts (Facebook, Twitter, calendar, etc), while letting us control our music or other integrated apps at the same time.
As a watch, Pebble feels very comfortable when fastened on the wrist. Relatively lightweight, the smooth edges maintain their distance from sensitive skin. Pebble watch is waterproofed down to 164 feet. So, it can stay on our wrist in the pool, in the ocean, or it work just fine in the shower as well.
Based on an e-ink display, the Pebble is restricted to simple black and white. The 1-bit 144 x 160 pixel paper-like display renders text crisply in bright sunlight. The screen is framed with a glossy border and features navigational buttons along its left and right sides. On the left end, we’ll find three buttons. One navigates up, another that moves our cursor down and one in the middle for selecting menu items. The other side of the watch houses a single button that returns us to the home screen. Just beneath that is the watch’s magnetic charger.
With very unique features, this watch becomes the talk of many people on the internet.
