Before You Buy Any Gadget
Human are never contended, Superkids. It’s our nature to always strive for the quest of the best and the easy ways. Yes, in this era of fast growing technology, we always come up with an updated tech. However, we should be wise to spend our money for the gadget. Herry Setiadi Wibowo, Surabaya-based technology consumer advisor, gives us some advices.
- Think about budget and needs. Buy gadget only based on our needs, not our wants. Many kids ask for the too sophisticated gadgets for their natural needs. They tell parents, these tools can be used later when they need them later. The fact, even they had not used it, the gadget is already sold.
- Buy the product, not the brand. Famous brands do not necessarily guarantee the best quality. Lots of new gadgets have quality not lesser than the old and famous brand brand –and with a lower price.
- Consider the specifications. Can it be used for 3G? How great the memory? How is the battery capacity? How many megapixel the camera? Is the charger connector universal?
- Do not forget to ask the service warranty. In cases of broken or disfunction, will the gadget be fixed in local service or must be collected to be sent to the services center in main city?
So, before we go to buy a product, make up your mind first. Don’t pay for what we won’t use just because the sales man suggested it, or any friend recommends it.
