A Sweet Friendship with the Sweety
Kila Andahani Abdi (Kila) is only three years older than her sister, Disa Mahalilan Abdi (Disa). They share bedroom, they go to the same school, they both like swimming, making cakes, singing songs, drawing and taking care of cats. Their friendship with those cute cats started two years ago.
Hi Kila, Disa. It’s a lot of cat you have there..
Hehe, it’s actually not the whole pack. One died, so it’s just nine of them now. We also have fishes and even more birds. About 17 of them.
Where did you get these cats from?
Pet market, last 2012.
Do they have names?
Sure they do. The oldest is Knudel, three years old. It’s our first kitty. And Sushi two years, Orenji seven months, Kiwi seven months. The other five are two months and don’t have name yet.
Oh, that’s cute. Who gave them such names?
We did. Everyone is taken after meal so it’s fresh and easy toremember. Knudel is like meatball in Germany. Sushi is from Japan. Kiwi and Orenji are fruits.
Do they have special room at home?
They have their cage, but Knudel always want to sleep in our bedroom.
Are they bad?
Mostly just spoiled, sometimes they misbehave though.
How close are you with them?
Very close. These kittens always want to go the bed with us. If Kila calls, they will come and follow her around. We take care of them ourselves, with help from mama and papa. They only need bathing once a month.
Any of them often becomes the favorite kitty?
Orenji and the unnamed yet little ones. Orenji is the cutest and most spoiled one.
Have you take them on a holiday vacation?
We did take them to papa’s hometown in Magelang, Central Java. But then stayed there with our cousins. If we go out, we just left them with people at home to take care for a while.
Do they make you cry and laugh too?
Big time! We cried out when Apple died for sick. It was buried on the frontyard. We always sad when one of them is sick. But they also light up the house. Everyone likes to see their cute daily stuffs. Orenji likes to jump onto the studying desk. We also like to chat with them. Sometimes we play family house, we are the mother and the kittens are the children… hahaha.
Any plan to take care of them for good?
Knudel, Sushi, Orenji and Kiwi will stay with us because we already fall for them. About the little ones, we plan to sell some of them,
and give others for cousins. We don’t want to have too many kittens and can’t take care of them well.
