Madania Elementary School was founded in 1996 and run professionally by Indonesia Madania Educational Foundation (YPMI), with over 15 years of experience as education provider in Indonesia.
Madania teachers teach from the heart, which means that not only they are good at teaching, but also capable at guiding, training and full with attentive and affection. The school education environment is very dynamic, supportive and challenging, very productive for students to grow into people with potentials.
Madania Elementary School’s curriculum follows the national and international’s, enriched with global insight. Madania’s curriculum also integrates music, art and theater, sport, learning skills, character development and leadership with research approach. The teaching-learning activities are supported with e-learning facilities.
The teaching and learning activities are performed in English except for Religion, Character Develeopment, Indonesia, Sport and Art. Science and Social for grade 1 and 2 are integrated into Bahasa Indonesia and English. Third grade up, Science and Social are performed partially in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Students of grade 6 are presented with international test. The objective is to find out how well is their comprehensive by using international standard test. The result is also used for school program evaluation. The examined subjects are English and Math and carried out by University of New South Wales. By the end of academic year, students of grade 6 will take Final Exam. The exam will follow the Education Ministry Department policy.
