Singapore National Academy Adopts Personalised Education
Chance of taking abroad scholarship and join in competition (art, sport or academic) up to international level. That is only a small part of so many benefits of becoming students of Singapore National Academy (SNA).
The school has been operational for 10 years in Sidoarjo and three years in Surabaya. The Primary level adopts Singapore curriculum, while the High School adopts Cambridge’s. Automatically, English is the main language in SNA. Two other languages are Mandarin and bahasa Indonesia.
Among the advantages of SNA is the learning system that adopts Personalised Education or Personal Educational Planning. “We have specific counseling for every students to make sure their talent and interest can be focused better. We believe, every child is unique and different from the next,” Melania Octavianti A, Head of Marketing, Public Relation and Event SNA, explains.
SNA also applies 21 Century’s Holistic Education system, enables students to actively participate in sport programs and competitive music. Most of the teachers are expatriates from many countries with different cultural background. “They teach many classes, except Religion, Bahasa Indonesia and PPKN (Pancasila and Citizenship Education). Co-teachers from Playgroup 1 to Primary 3 are locals too,” Melania goes on.
If you are planning of going abroad for college, Superkids, going to SNA will give you a bigger chance to get accepted in top foreign universities. That’s because SNA is affiliated with Ministry of Education of Singapore, China, Canada and Australia. “And if students plan to continue the education to other than the above countries, we are ready to provide assistance of enrolling in the destination university,” Melania ended up.
