Green Tea Ice Cream

Green tea in Korean is “Nokcha Karu” and in Japanese is called “Matcha”. If you prefer the green tea tasted harder, add more green tea powder, and if you like the ice cream to be more creamy, add more ice cream.

 

Preparation: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Cooling time: 4 hours

Total amount of time needed:  4 hours 15 minutes

Total serve: 4-6 portions

 

Ingredients:

2-3 tbsp green tea powder (matcha)

2-3 glasses of sugar powder

3 shaked eggs

2 glass of ice cream, any brand

 

How to make:

Mix green tea powder, sugar and eggs into the pan

 

Add one cup of ice cream, shake hard

 

Heat up the mixture, add ice cream, gradually reduce the fire

 

When the mixture is thickening, expanding and can be removed with spoon, remove it from the pan

 

Leave for cold, put into the refrigerator for at least one hour

 

Put in the mixture into ice cream maker for about 20 minutes

 

Put the mixture into airtight chamber and store into freezer for at least 3 hours

 

Ready to serve
