Now what can we do to our skin? Just a little care and consideration. Like the heart, stomach, and brain, your skin is an organ. In fact, it’s the largest organ in your body, but often times we do not care for our skin. Unless there’s a problem, Superkids might never care too much into them. Yet the skin has many important roles in the body, you know Superkids.

 

Your skin is constantly protecting you. Your skin keeps infections out of your body and keeps you from getting sick. When you take care of your skin, you’re helping your skin do its job. And taking care of your skin today will help prevent future problems, like wrinkles and even skin cancer.

 

 

So let’s learn how to take good care of the skin you’re in. Start from the food you eat every day. There are many nutrient rich meals that can help keeping and preventing healthy skin naturally. Eat this kind of meal every day and avoid junk food, too much sugar and any meal with trans-fat and refined carbohydrate, ok?

 

Salmon

Salmon is a very good food to prevent stress, high anxiety and depression. Salmon also provide most of daily basis vitamin D required by our body. As you know Superkids, Vitamin D is useful to keep the heart, bones, intestines and brain healthy. Salmon is also rich with omega-3, fat acid that has been proven very helpful to fight acnes and skin inflammation. The high level omega-3 is can also help the skin moisturize from inside. Spinach

Mom often asks you not to toss aside the spinach, right? That’s because spinach is a magnificent meal, Superkids. Spinach contains abundant amount of nutrient. It’s the source of iron, folic, chlorophyll, magnesium, fiber, and vegetable protein. The antioxidants is very high, and the vitamin C, E, and A are great for your skin. Spinach is proven to prevent from any skin problem. Just by eating spinach, you are cleaning up the skin from inside and make it look shining from outside. Papaya

Papaya is a fruit with so many nutrients. Papaya is a very low calorie (only 39 calorie per 100g!) and free of cholesterol. So, even if you eat a lot every day, obesity is the least of your concern, Superkids. Papaya is also low on fructose and very good for digestion. The antioxidant includes Vitamin C and E and high beta carotene, able to prevent from inflammation skin and acne. In addition, Vitamin C is also helpful protecting your skin from negative effect of sun light.  

 

Carrot

Not only good for the eyes, for skin as well, Superkids. Carrot contains high level of Vitamin A and very good to clean up our face and slowing the cancer cells. So from now on, make sure you eat carrot every day, Superkids. You can make juice, mix it with other meal or for snacking.

 

Celery

Other meal that you can eat everyday to have perfect skin is celery.  They are leaves mom always put in our soup, you know. Maybe we still think that celery is just there as garnish.
