Pinch Cake

“Have a sudden urge of pinch cake, a childhood snack, but there’s no cake seller here has one. Don’t bother to look for the mold and even if there is one, it is surely can’t be used on my stove because it doesn’t have open flame. Finally by using mini muffins mold, I bake the pinch in the oven. Success! Including having a pinch of the warm cake as it’s put from oven with roast. Haha… it means I can have pinch cake anytime!”

PS: children love this, including the ritual of “pinching” the warm cake as we take it out of the pan.
