Fresh Pineapple Jam
Pineapple jam is one of the loyal companions of white bread. Why not trying make your own for a change? It only takes 30 minutes to get a small jar of fresh pineapple jam, after all.
Ingredients
One medium size pineapple
2 cups of sugar
A pick of yellow coloring food
2 tbsp of lemon juice
1 tbsp sdsm pineapple essences
How to make
- Peel and cut the pineapple to dice sized. Blend it to coarse pulp.
- Put into pan, add sugar, stir well.
- Heat up. Cook for 10-15 minutes until the sugar melt completely and thicken.
- Add some coloring food, stir well.
- Reduce the flame, put in lemon juice, spread.
- Leave to completely cool down. Put into dry airtight container. The jam stays for two weeks, longer if put in the fridge.
