Fresh Pineapple Jam

 

Pineapple jam is one of the loyal companions of white bread. Why not trying make your own for a change? It only takes 30 minutes to get a small jar of fresh pineapple jam, after all.

 

Ingredients

One medium size pineapple

2 cups of sugar

A pick of yellow coloring food

2 tbsp of lemon juice

1 tbsp sdsm pineapple essences

 

How to make

  1. Peel and cut the pineapple to dice sized. Blend it to coarse pulp.
  2. Put into pan, add sugar, stir well.
  3. Heat up. Cook for 10-15 minutes until the sugar melt completely and thicken.
  4. Add some coloring food, stir well.
  5. Reduce the flame, put in lemon juice, spread.
  6. Leave to completely cool down. Put into dry airtight container. The jam stays for two weeks, longer if put in the fridge.
