Singapore National Academy’s 10th Anniversary
The bang of drum spread in the air from Alim Husin Hall, Singapore National Academy (SNA) on Raya Pepelegi Street, Waru, Sidoarjo, August 29th 2014 noon. The drum parade of SNA students opened the sequence of celebration for their 10th anniversary with theme “Conquering New Heights”.
Students gathered with teachers, principal and former principals to commemorate the 10 years journey of SNA. Yes, Superkids, SNA deliberately presented people who contribute in raising the international scale school with three languages (English, Indonesian and Mandarin).
After the SNA Clip History, the event went on with special tribute for late Mr Lye Weng Hon the first principal of SNA, which was taken by his wife. Next up was the slicing the cake with General Manager Sophy Alim, Principal Mr Peter Araman, Miss Chan Mee Leen (second principal ), Mr Yeo Ah Tee (third principal) and some others. “We will keep inovating to improve the quality of education in SNA to better prepare our students for global chalengges,” Peter determined.
The image of 10 years journey of SNA was put on display in Heritage Gallery. In this unique gallery, every student can see how much is the progress their school has achieved every year. Happy 10th anniversary, SNA!
