Indonesian Idol Junior Audition in Jakarta
Indonesian Idol Junior started off with a series of audition, taking place in several big cities in Indonesia since July 2014. Nana Putra, the Managing Director of MNCTV said, this recent program shows how far MNCTV will go to present interesting program to watch.
Indonesian Idol Junior succeed with audition in several cities such as Makassar (5 July 2014), Yogya (13 July 2014), Ambon (13 July 2014), Bandung (19 July 2014), and Banjarmasin (20 July 2014). While the Big Audition is in Surabaya (Balai Kartika, 13-14 August 2014), Medan (MICC, 19-20 August 2014).
And, finally Big Audition reach its final city, Jakarta, just yesterday on August 30-31, in Tennis Indoor, Senayan, Aside than this audition, there’s also one through dreambox in Mal Kota Kasablanka.
The dreambox audition site has been crawling with people even before the registration opens. Hundreds of high spirited contestants join in for one silver ticket. To add the spice, the dreambox audition presents a guest jury, a former contestant of Indonesian Idol, Sean. Audience are getting hyped up with this.
Not only regular audition contestant, this audition is also filled with Special Hunt, coming from musical school in Jakarta and been through tight screening. The second day of audition yesterday was just like the previous day, began with pre cast and on with final cast pre cast. Contestant who managed to pass the final pre cast went on a photo session and video booth. This gave them opportunity to show off in front of camera for MNCTV jury and Fremantle Jakarta.
In this event, MNCTV applied special treatment for contestant as kids they are. It’s by providing various children playing equipment to use and other attractive time spending activities such as drawing, watching MNCTV children animated programs, to help them get rid of the bore while waiting for their turn and keep their mood up.
For children who wanted to have last minute practice and get prepared for the pre-cast, a special room was available, practice room. Kids are free to express and pose in front of the mirror in it.
The audition went on the same steps with two previous cities, Surabaya and Medan. The audition in Jakarta was the last of Indonesian Idol Junior audition for season one. Many contestant came from faraway places to take advantage of this audition. They came from Gorontalo, Bangka Belitung, Palangkaraya, aside from the locals.
Some contestant who came from distant places showed up in their traditional outfit, further distinguish them from the existing participants. Other than that, super heroes and cartoon characters (dominated by characters of Frozen, Queen Elsa) made the day even brighter.
Contestants who were found worthy of the next step will depart to Jakarta to compete in the next phase of selection, the judging. After this, the elimination, top 15, spectacular and the grand final. Big name celebrities like Titi DJ, Daniel Mananta and the Indonesian Idol winner, Regina will be the jury in this event. So, Superkids, don’t miss Indonesian Idol Junior!
