Harapan Bangsa, Junior Talented Photographers
On Saturday (October 26, 2013), Harapan Bangsa was making an open house event. The event was to show all Harapan Bangsa students skill. There were calligraphy, ballet also English and Mandarin speech competition. At that day there was also scholarship test for 6th grade students for regular and Cambridge class.
Superkids Indonesia was working together with Canon to represent Photography Coaching Clinic in Superkids School Attack. All 5th and 6th grader were tutored by Canon about basics of photography. They learned how to create good photo by setting the right angle, light composition and et cetera. They also learn how to make a good quality artwork by using Canon PIXMA printer.
Canon showed Harapan Bangsa students about the function and quality of Canon’s printer. It could print anykind of photo with good quality, with any colours, any sizes or anykind of papers. How did they show it? This is the fun part! The students were divided into five groups, and each of them hold one Canon camera. They had 30 minutes to find interesting objects for them, then they designed it and last the photos were printed with Canon smart printers. “Our objective is to make kids having photography skill and ability to create good quality pictures by designing through qualified printer,” said Edo, one of Canon Coaching Clinic mentor.
All mentors were scoring and picked two best groups with best photos. And the result was, group One and group Five came out as the winners. They got Teddy Bear Canon prize and goodie bag from Superkids Indonesia and Ultra Milk. Well done, Superkids!
