Hi-5 Concert Rocks Surabaya
Hi-5 appearance was like a magnet for hundreds of kids in Tunjungan Convention Center, Tunjungan Plaza (TP) 3, 6th floor, Surabaya, Wednesday March 12 2014. In the second day of “Hi-5 House Party”, Stevie Nicholson, Lauren Brant, Dayen Zheng, Ainsley Melham and Mary Lascaris entertained fans with educative songs, stories, and dances
Please don’t start with how was the 60 minutes concert going on, Superkids. Throughout the show, young audiences were so enthusiast to singing and dancing with the group. The story went, Dayen took her four best friends to play in the park. They were lively singing while basking under the sun shine all the way. In the park, this Australian group who made hit with TV program played hide and seek. Audience went thundering noise when helping Dayen finding where Stevie, Lauren, Ainsley and Mary were hiding.
The crowd got even more merrier with the Hi-5 hits, sung with the scenes. Audiences joined them singing “Ready or Not”, “Move Your Body”, “L.O.V.E”, “Wishing Upon the Star” and some more hits. Special for this second Surabaya concert, Hi-5 also brought up new hits “Come On In” and “Dance with the Dinosaurs.”
In mid 2013, Hi-5 was firstly appeared to greet the fans in Surabaya, in the series of “Hi-5 Wonderful Live Show” concert. This year they revisit after done with show in Gandaria City in Jakarta. Their show in Surabaya was from March 11-14, 2014, every 02.00 PM. On the last day, the schedule was added into twice a day, 03.00 PM and 07.00 PM.
Hi-5 has a total of 585 TV shows, each with 30 minutes duration. The program was even adopted into learning material for pre-school children by Broadcasting Institution in Australia, United Kingdom and America. Hi-5 is considered to be able to help children learn through educative games, song and moves.
