This problem was turned upside down in the parenting seminar with theme ‘The Important of Playing for Children’ held by Creativity for kids, last Saturday (November 11). A child care Dewi Hughes revealed that many Superparents assume if playing with friends at school or home is suffice.

“It will be wiser if we as parents are able to take the position as a friend to play with the child. Be there with them exploring things in daily routine,” said Hughes.

What’s the big deal with spending time to play with children? A lot. Hughes gave some details that among them, it can help building children communication skill, motorist, kinesthetic, analyze and language. Along with it, choosing the playing product is also crucial. “We need to be selective to chose educative toys to extract the creativity of the little ones,”  said this ambassador ot Early Child Education, Formal and Non Formal (PAUDNI) of ministry of Education and Culture, went on.

Hughes appreciated the effort by Faber-Castell via sub brand Creativity for Kids to emphasize the need of children to play. It is expected that children will be free to express, explore and imagine and eventually lead to an independent individual. “We never stop the innovation manufacturing product to increase children’s creativity,” said  Niken D Mahanani, Product Supervisor Creativity for Kids.
