Kidpreneur Award 2013
It’s the second time, ,Koran Berani hosted the Kidpreneur Award, a presitgous award for little businessman. There were 15 finalists out of 246 registered participants at Ex Plaza Thamrin, Friday November 1st, 2013. Each participants had a booth to sell their work, from snacks to accessories and recycled stuffs.
One of the teams called themselves Cico Future Leader Corporation offered their special recipe of corn milk. The kids said that the inspiration came from their mother who regularly fed them with the healthy menu for afternoon snack. Cek Ipah team didn’t fall behind. They sold various souvenirs that they secret of making them has been in the family for generation.
Kidpreneur Award 2013 theme was “Let’s Show The Enterpreneur In You Since Early!”. Superkids were challenged to show their persistence in entrepreneurship. They made the product and sold them. They way they prepare the package and how to do the marketing was also a challenge because they had to been creative to attract buyers. The point was how to create product that consumers will buy.
Among those who were interested to this event was The Minister of Women Empowerment and Children Protection, Linda Malia Sari Gumelar. She came to the exhibition site personally to see just what the young entrepreneur had to sell. The participants were ready to explain their products and convinced Linda to try. “I am so proud to have met the future entrepreneur who will someday become the pillars of our Economic”, Linda praised them.
Before on to the final stage, contestant must go into the quarantine zone for a week to sharpen their skill of entrepreneurship. Based on the jury’s judgments, the team who deserve to be number one was Future Leader Corporation, followed by Gaul and C&C Kids.
