Kids Fun Marching Band VIII: Cheerful while Reaching Up
No one would not be proud with achievements is there, Superkids? The teacher would be proud, parents would love us more, friends are happy, and we become more and more famous. Therefore, nowadays there are many events held to improve children’s performance and achievements.
Take the event held by Depok Town Square (Detos) in Depok, West Java, March, 29th 2014 for example. Kids Fun Marching Band. An annual event that has been held by Detos for the 8th time, Superkids. The event was attended by kindergarten and elementary in Jabodetabek area. Altogether, there are 15 participants from kindergarten group and 16 participants from the elementary.
Fortunate, Superkids Indonesia got the opportunity to watch this 2014 Marching Band competition. It was festive. Since 10 in the morning, Detos’s yard had been swarmed by children with costumes and Marching Band attributes in a variety of colors. The heat of the sun on that Saturday did not temper with children anxiety to win the game.
The members of marching band from each kindergarten and elementary school eagerly showed what they got. Starting from the unique theme, costumes, music and motion coordination, none skip from judgement. Fixtures and decorations according to the theme were brought together to complete the visual aesthetics of the Marching Band. The teachers and parents were also competing to support their children with their own yelling. Exciting!
After all the Marching Band groups were finished performing in the early afternoon, the event continued in Detos main stage. Children with their still fully spirit were entertained with the next event, music performance and of course give away prizes. And finally after conferred, judges finally closed the show with the trophies, and gift certificates awarding for the winners. Congratulations!
