Kids Corner Under Siege by Visitors

It was only 08.00 AM, dozens of Superkids were already swarmed the Superkids Indonesia booth at Ballroom IPB International Convention Center, Sunday September 15th 2013. The chamber, that is part of  Mall Botani Square, hosted the road show Superkids Indonesia with Morinaga Platinum.

Kids sat in the line at Kid’s Corner. Some were folding paper making origami with Superkids Indonesia team, some were busy with their puzzle, provided in the booth. “Check it out, Sis, It’s McQueen…McQueenQ!” squeak Ade, cheered when spotted her favorite character from the movie “Cars” in her puzzle.

Not only learned arranging the pieces of puzzle and origami in various images. In the second session after lunch, Superkids Indonesia team opened up face painting for all kids. “For real? Free?” asked Supermom Atin when taking her 7 years old daughter Naila line up for the painting. “Don’t worry, Mom. Origami, puzzle, face painting, it’s all free. The ink won’t harm kids’ skin too,” Activation and Community Development Superkids Indonesia, Sesylia Rayi Pertiwi explained.

Superkids were free to pick any image they wanted to. From flowers, butterfly, the sun up to Batman. Some kids wanted the paint on their cheek, but some are cool with painting on hands. Some kids even asked for more painting. Surely they must go back to the line, start over from the back. “After this, i’m going to have another one on my hand,” asked an 8 years old Dea who then went back to join other kids on the queue, started over from the back.

Supermom Atin gave positive comment for activities offered in Superkids Indonesia. For her, they were both interesting and educative. “It’s good to have Superkids Indonesia event like this, prevent kids from boredom. If I may suggest, why don’t have some sort of coloring competition, that will definitely rock this place.”
