Sofia the First’s First Visit to Indonesia
Closing the sequence of school holiday program, Tunjungan Plasa (TP) Surabaya presented the idol of all little girls, Sofia the First. It’s Princess Sofia’s first time in Indonesia, Superkids. Before greeting the fans in the City of Heroes, she dropped by to entertain fans in Central Park Mall, West Jakarta.
In the capital, Sofia made four performances in July 3rd – 6th 2014. In Surabaya, this youngest Disney princess met fans in July 10th – 13th 2014. Sofia performed alone with her purple gown, tiara and necklace, given by King Roland, her step father.
The meet and greet took place five times a day, at 00.30 PM, 02.00 PM, 03.30 PM, 05.00 PM and 06.30 PM in TP 3 atrium. Fans got a chance to meet and took photos with Sofia by showing Pakuwon Privilege card, BCA VISA or a shopping bill of K 250 from any shop in TP. The photos can be retrieved one hour after the show.
Chalya Bening, a first grade student of Brawijaya Smart School Elementary School, wouldn’t miss the opportunity. With her kindergarten cousin, Nimashayu, they stood in the line to meet the idol. “We just bought the doll too,” said Chalya.
Alfebrina Pramadita or Nana shared the passion. This fourth grader of Kartika Plus Panjang Jiwo Elementary School came in with her dad Iwan Rahmad Setiawan and grandma Hatik. Wait, where is mom? “She is busy with patients,” said Nana who turned out a doctor’s daughter.
The Disney atmosphere holiday has been in the air at TP since mid June, two weeks before Princess Sofia came. Many attractive events with Disney also live up holiday for Superkids. Those who couldn’t wait for the princess to appear can take a shoot with the background of Sofia the First, like what a cute little girl Ghina Fijriyah El Faizah did.
“This is our tribute to please the customers of TP. We throw the meet and greet up to five times a day to satisfy the little ones,” Brigiv Aditya, Media Relations TP explained.
