The Largest Santa Claus Lego
Not only twinkling Christmas tree that enlivening the mall. In Ciputra World Surabaya (WCS), stands a giant Santa Claus statue on the linear atrium since December 18, 2013. The statue is made from lego, children famous construction toys, to merrier the Christmas.
Want to know how big is it? It’s 5.2 meters tall, 2.8 meters wide and 2.5 meters in length. This lego statue is a combination work by Bricks Indonesia team, spending over 500 thousand 2×4 cm loose lego bricks. The effort paid out well, Superkids. The gigantic Santa successfully become the eye catcher for the visitor, and gains acknowledgement by Indonesian World Record Museum (Muri) as the Biggest Santa Claus Replica Made of Lego Line.
The lego statue of Santa is actually only one of many attractions for visitors in the “Lego Christmas World” program. This event is a paradise for lego lovers, both children and adult alike. Various of cool programs are thrown every day from until upcoming January 5th 2014. Just name them Lego Minifig Hunt, Lego Single Building Competition, Lego Parent and Child Building Competition, Lego Photo Building Contest, and also Lego Chima Speedorz Tournament.
Still on the same Lego Play Arena, a social program known as Lego Build the Hope is also on the run. Visitors are given opportunities to go home with a minifigure Santa lego by donating just IDR 20.000. “This is the first charity lego action that prepared 10.000 minifigure Santa lego for the donator. Stella Sanjaya, a student of Ciputra School, was interested and came home with two miniatures when visiting CWS on Tuesday, December 24th, 2013. “One for my collection and the other is for charity,” Stella reasoning.
