Little Kingdom Fashion Show
Jakarta Fashion and Food Festival square (JFFF) magically appeared to be a kingdom of a fairy tale. Models with age ranged 4-19 years old swing their body before hundreds of audiences. Their target was to win Gading Models Search, known as GMS, for kids Category (KC).
It was serious advancing activities. Dimas Harya, who came a long way from Bandung, searched selectively for a costume model that fit the theme. Out of the ordinary, its reference was not a pile of fairy tale books of kingdoms of the ages, instead soap operas, known as sinetron. “The costumes were taylor made, we didn’t go look in shops. Well, we searched in sinetrons for the designs,” his mom Inta explains.
Dimas whose been nine months participating in young models competition of Bandung-Jakarta. This seven years old kid is a member of Deal Model Banding agency. In costume search, he contributes in determine color and accessories to put on. It was paid off. Dimas was awarded the third place of GMS KC. Not only he get the prize and trophy. Dimas gains more from his experiences and self confident is improved as well. “It was cool and fun,” he said.
This was the fifth GMS held by JFFF. The participants rose to 400 people. They were selected to the best 40 to perform in catwalk of GMS KC. “A lot of talented young models participated in this event. Even some of well known names from TV commercials or those who performed for a big name designers,” Chief of JFFF’s public relation Cut Meutia explains.
