Imlek and Valentine Suits Show
Atrium Grand City Mall Surabaya was crowded by little models in all red.
Celebrating Valentine and Imlek that fall almost overlapped, Grand City Mall Surabaya threw special fashion show for kids. Over a dozen of little models from a local agency took part in the show performed by the end of last January. They swiftly moving their hips in red suits resembling Imlek and pink of Valentine.
The title of the show was “Beauty in Red” and was divided into two sessions. The first special to perform the latest fashion collections in Imlek theme. The second session featured the models wearing Valentine theme fashion. Marketing Communication Grand City Mall Surabaya, Kukuk F Soeharno said, they did present Imlek and Valentine’s atmosphere before February. “It’s to remind the public that the Chinese New Year and Valentine are coming soon,” said Kukuh.
Cathleen and Naphtali are two beautiful models who participated waddling in the “Beauty in Red” fashion show. Although they haven’t specifically celebrated Valentine’s, the girls were keen to take part in this activity. “Of course we know Imlek because we celebrate it every year. As for Valentine, we know it even better now since it falls very close to Imlek,” said Cathleen.
