Anime Lovers Gathered at HelloFest
Swimming Pool Complex Senayan, Jakarta, turned into superhero gathering arena. Not only Naruto cs, the dark lords such as monsters and zombies were presence too. Their coming to the scene on November 9-10 successfully livens up the HelloFest Anima Expo.
But, of course they were not the real zombies and superheroes, Superkids. They were anime fans in their idols’ costume. Check out Dedi, he came all the way from Solo with Sakata Gintoki outfit, the hero in “Gintama”. His appearance was completed with his kimono, katana and even his special style of –oops!- hilarious nose picking. “I am Sakata’s fan because he is a humorous hero, always make people laugh,” said Dedi.
Anima HelloFest Expo is an event of creativity in animation world, short movies, and up to pop culture. That is why participants dressed in superhero outfit. For two days, there was a bustling bazaar action figure invaded by buyers. The main event is filled with watching animated movie from Indonesian children’s work.
HelloFest itself was designed like the Comic Con in San Diego , United States and Comiket in Tokyo, Japan . Hopefully, someday HelloFest can be as successful as the two giant arenas, which flooded by 500,000 visitors!
