Little Rockers Amuses Visitors of Lenmarc

Young students of Ahmad Dhani School of Rock (ADSR) Surabaya proved their vocal performance. One by one they stepped on the stage on the second floor of Lenmarc Mall, Surabaya, Sunday afternoon June 22, 2014. Their show makes visitor stop by to enjoy this mini concert, Superkids.

Among the favorite singers was Princessa JA Kaat. Six years old girl, with nickname Cessa, appeared in girly look with black outfit. She sang along with Arthur Kaat, her Dad plays his guitar.

She sang along with Arthur Kaat, her Dad’s guitar. “I had just joined ADSR for one year but already performed with other studentds,” said Cessa, the first grade elementary student. Standing before dozens of audiences, Cessa threw out two songs back to back. “I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing” of rock band Aerosmith and the legendary group The Beatles’ “Yesterday”.

The ADSR students’ performance enlivened the holiday activity “Creative Groovy”, brought up by the coloring pencil company Staedtler. The show went on June 16-22 with many events, like fashion show, competitions, product fair and free coloring lesson in Coaching Corner.

The committee has prepared coloring tools and paper and kids just need to finish it. “While enjoying the show, kids can finish their work with no pressure. We guide them to learn about color degradation with coloring pencil, that can also serve as water paint,” Nicco Ismantoro, an artist who assisted participants in Coaching Corner, explained.
