Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta Celebrated The Global Handwashing Day
In association to The Global Handwashing Day, Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta visited SMPN 181 Bendungan Hilir, Jakarta to perform handwashing stage together, Wednesday (15/10).
The Global Handwashing Day is held every October 15th, to invite everyone wash their hand with soap. The global campaign aims to reduce the number of children suffer from diarhea and respiration infection, especially in under developing country such as Indonesia. Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta is proud to be part of this international campaign.
“Our involving in the Global Handwashing Day is in line with our CSR program that focuses on education and health. We expect our effort to help students in raising awareness on health,” says Jürgen Dörr, General Manager Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta.
SMPN 181 Bendungan Hilir Jakarta is the major beneficiary for Shangri-La Jakarta CSR program with theme Embrace, since earlier 2014. The development is constantly under observation by hotel management to ensure the improvement on education quality as a manifestation of long time commitment.
