Who’s Indonesian Clevo Champ 2014?

 

For the fourth time, the race for Indonesian Clevo Champ (JCI) was held in several cities. Palembang, Surabaya, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Bandung and Jakarta had become the spots for the hunt of raw talent of the country throughout this 2014.

 

The selection had been tighter since contestant from every city must pass through multiple stages, before they could compete in the grand final in Jakarta. The selection process started with socialization, validation, audition then into quarantine and grand final stage action. The initial stage was performed at the same time since early November 2013, in all audition area. “We are looking for kids with serious brain, strong character and multitalents,” said Narto Sunarno, Marketing Manager Dairy and Others, representative of Clevo producer, Garuda Food Group.

 

Why is 2014 JCI different with the previous ones? This year JCI series was enlivened by the pre-event road show with theme “10 Clevo’s Bestfriend Schools”. In every audition city, the JCI team went ahead to socializing the JCI into 10 elementary schools, holding educative game and performing the 2013 JCI finalists.

 

According to Narto, the even aimed to build kids’ of 5-11 years old character. JCI was purposively designed to be the event that become a medium for kids’ creativities, encouraging them to expand the talent and intelligence. In JCI, kids were supported, trained and constantly motivated to develop their hidden potentials. Winners will receive cash prizes, travel packages to Universal Studios Singapore, and scholarships worth hundreds of millions of rupiahs  in the Global Sevila or Central School Jakarta.
