Enough with Online Shopping Dissapointment!

 

The most common thing is that buyer not satisfied with the purchased item. Whether it’s the color, size or taste is not like what it seems on the web.

“The goods are not always like the display, the quality is also below my expectations,” recalled Yulia Astuti, the owner of Moz5 Salon and Moayu.com beauty portal during the smart talk ‘Be a Smart Shopper’ that was supported by Superkids Indonesia, last Saturday (22/12).

Yulia said that online shopping is actually a solution for people like her, who like shopping but don’t have much time to go to mall or boutique. It is the let down experience that drove her to get into this business. She determined not to share what she’d been through with her costumers. And it was paid off. “Because i understand what they want,” said Yulia who was a finalist of Wanita Wirausaha Femina 2012.

Today, Yulia gain success through internet. Not only running the Moz5 Salon and Moayu.com, she also own a cosmetic provider company. Soon, she is going to launch another merchandise, Moayu Beauty Care.

 

The last Saturday event at Coffe Cabin, Gunawarman Jakarta was a big hit. Audience seats were filled by man, woman and teenagers who has or is planning to open an online store. Others were those who do online shopping a lot and were hunting for smart shopping tips.

Other speaker than Yulia were Kiky and Anita from Multiply, also Yudit from SmartFren. Kiky described how his party as the online shopping platform even provide guarantee for the costumers. The point is that costumers must believe. “That’s what the guarantee is for, if the goods don’t fit the order, you can return it,” said Kiky.

According to Ade Sri Purwaningsih, PR, Advertising & Business Development Manager Superkids Indonesia, this event aimed to equip both the online shopping business actors and customers to become smart traders and buyers. “If we let the buyer down right of the bat, even the cheapest item with high quality will be hard to sell,” said Ade.
