Have Fun at Taiwan Leisure Farm

Milking cow, feeding animals in the farm, have creation with flying lantern and making baked milk pudding. How’s that sound? Those are just the tip of the iceberg, Superkids, the list of activities offered for holiday at Flying Cow Ranch in Tongxiao region, Miaoli, Taiwan. The foundation in charge for the Flying Cow Ranch claims, it’s the most childish ranch in eastern Taiwan. Is it?

“It’s all ours; the milk is produced in our farm, the vegetable is organic from our own garden. Children would love it in Flying Cow Ranch,” Apple Wang the manager convinces, while with the Taiwan Leisure Farms Development Association (TLFDA) at Bumi Surabaya City Resort, Thursday April 10th 2014.

Cooking class was one of the most favorite activity for young visitors. The menu is rich with variation, you know. And guess what is the main ingredient? Yup, fresh milk! Milk that has just recently milked from health cows at the farm can be processed into ice cream (wow, who could say no to ice cream on a hot burning day?) delicious butter, cookies, milk cake and more.

TLFDA visits Surabaya to introduce their ultimate agro tourism that they have been seriously run since 15 years ago. The chief Jaden invites six farm leisure organizers to join in the group. Other Flying Cow Ranch, also presence the team Shangrila Leisure Farm (Yi-Lan), Tou Cheng Leisure Farm (Ilan), Rollin Farm (Taichung), Long Yun Leisure Farm (Chiayi) and Dakeng Leisure Farm (Tainan).

According to Jaden, ranch tourism in Taiwan is visited mostly by tourists from Malaysia, Singapore and Hong kong. Only a few from Indonesia, while according to Sales Manager Indonesia Branch China Airline Alwin Heodinata at the same ocasssion, China Airlines has opened direct flight route from Jakarta and Surabaya. “This is may be something new for Indonesian tourists. Many of them come to Taiwan just for shopping in Taipei, while actually there are lots of other worthy destinations to visit there,” said Jaden.

Taiwan leisure farm combines the beauty of country performance with lovak culture. If you happened to have seen images of green and vast ranches in Martine’s book serial, Taiwan farm resort is pretty much in that level.

So, how’s it going to be, Superkids? Would you start planning a vacation where there’s no distance with nature and tamed animals?
