Interested? Just by clicking on the Indonesia.travel, you will get much information about various travel products, tourism, and related packages. This site looks modern and dynamic. It could facilitate the travelers to get information about tourism in Indonesia and share their experiences about traveling.
Indonesia.travel, designed since 2006, is minimalist but modern. Various color and interesting pictures dominate the face of the site. In near future, this site will have virtual 360-degree photos of a number of tourist destinations such as Borobudur, Sentarum Lake, Mount Bromo, Wakatobi Island, and others. There will also be video streaming. Wonderful, isn’t it?
The launching of Indonesia.travel is held at Soesilo Soedarman Hall, Sapta Pesona Building, The Ministry Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, in Merdeka Barat Street, Jakarta, on December 20, 2012. It is toned up by an attraction of the Gallery Angklung Mang Udjo. Some of the traveling community and the travel bloggers also attended. Among others; Backpacker Info, Indonesia Travellers, KeluaRumah, Lostpacker, Dua Ransel, Paling Indonesia, Pergi Dulu, Kaskus Indonesian Traveler, Traveltroopers and Tukang Jalan.
“There’s special page for contributors. So people can share photos, trip or itinerary to Indonesia.travel,” said Head of Sub Communications Digital Media Electronics in The Ministry, Ratna Suranti, which also commands the Indonesia.travel. “We try to embrace netizen to help Indonesia tourism marketing,” said Director General of Tourism Destination Development, Firmansyah Rahim.
