The CCAI Enviroment Friendly Community
Supermom, this is a healthy way of provitable bussiness founded by Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia or CCAI, an indonesian bottling and distributing soft drink company. More than few communities take part to run the show. During the talk show about ‘Greenovation for Sustainable Business and Community’ at Social Media Festival, Senayan Jakarta, last week, CCAI widely invite many communities to participate in environment friendly innovation.
One of those already involved was Indonesia Surfing Community. Under Coca Cola Surf Team banner, they actively do the tree planting and cleaning up the beach in every occasion. Some of indonesia’s top leading surfer Tipi Jabrik, Dede Suryana dan Mustofa Jeksen were among them. “Indonesia has beaches that the surfing community worldwide loves. That’s why we are very concern about it,” said Dede.
Some other young generations that care about the preservation of the environment in doing what they do and everyday life were Chef Afit from Holy Cow! Steak House, Miss Scuba International 2011 Dayu Hatmanti, Umen ‘Operasi Semut’, and Leo Mokodompit, the initiator of GreenpreneurshiP. Afit commited to use only organic spinach in all of his food court.
Wanda Harahap, National Corporate Affairs Manager CCAI memaparkan, pihaknya juga menggunakan mesin Blow-fill di pabrik. Hasilnya, botol minuman yang diproduksi memiliki kandungan plastik dan air lebih sedikit. Kemasan air mineral pun bisa dipakai kembali. Bahkan, kulkas yang digunakan dilengkapi teknologi hemat energi. “Kami tak bisa hanya berbisnis tanpa memperhatikan dampak pada lingkungan dan masyarakat,” tekan Wanda.
Wanda Harahap, National Corporate Affairs Manager CCAI described that her party also used blow-fill machine, resulting in lower level plastic and water in the bottle, enabled the re-usage of the mineral water bottle. In fact, the fridge is a energy saving technology. “There’s no way we can do the bussiness without concerning to the effect on environment and society,” Wanda ended her words.
