Jababeka Award for Creative Kids

 

It was shown in the ‘Kids Talent’ event in Marketing Gallery, Hollywood Plaza, Movieland, Jababeka City, last week. Jababeka awarded kids with certain achievements, especially in art. 133 participants from 10 school took turn in displaying their coordination in singing and dancing.

 

Actually, the number of applicant was a lot bigger. The committee was forced to stop the registration due to the time limit. “We appreciate kids’ achievement and creativity. This event is expected to encourage them to create and accomplish more achievement,” said Lilis Nuraeni, the Manager of GB Club Jababeka Residence, expressing her expectation.

 

Aside showing elementary students’ skills, children were also presented with acrobat and pantomime. Still in the same place was a talk show with Aurelia Prinisha Madjid, the author of novel ‘The Lifetime of an Early TeenageGirl’. Aurelia was also one of kids with astounding achievement. The US Embassy awarded her for being the first Indonesian kid to write an English novel.

 

This event was expected to tighten the communication inter schools around the town of Jababeka and Cikarang. Including that of fellow student’s parents and representative of preschool, kinder garden and elementary school. The town of Jababeka has equipped itself with various educational center, both formal and non formal from national to international level.
