Superman in the Snail Shell

Try to go to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (Park of Beautiful Indinesia in Miniature) in Jakarta, and enjoy some entertainment in Keong Emas theater. In addition to offering various forms of entertainment, you can use this place to develop the love for Indonesia homeland.
The form of Keong Emas theater is similar to Sydneys Opera House in Australia. However, as the name refers to, Keong Emas (or golden snail in Bahasa) took shape like a snail shell. The entrance is similar to aperture of the shell, and there are one more opening on it.
The main part of this building is 3D IMAX cinema theater. This is complemented by IMAX projector with 70 min film format, with Sonics Soundsystem which is operated with Maghnatech system and/or Digital CD system. The giant screen size is 21.5 meters x 29.3 meters.
The parks initiated by the late first lady Tien Soeharto was initially only showed documentary films about Indonesia. However, lately, Hollywood movies also came. For instance, you can watch documentaries such as Dinosaurs Giants of Patagonia, Wild Ocean, Journey to Mecca, to popular movie such as Spiderman, Superman, Madagascar, Star Trex, Harry Potter or Transformers.
After watching the 3D movie, take your kid to enjoy the outbound arena. There you can find playground, rented mini-pedicab, flying fox, pedal cars, and much more. If you feel tired, there are plenty of shady places to rest and enjoy the heavy or light snacks.
