Preparing Superkids Birthday (2)

In the last topic, Preparing Superkids’ Birthday (1). Now, here are some points Supermom and Superdad might need to pay more attention to:

1. Timing

Deciding when the party is held is the first thing Superparents must do. Superkids’ birthday should be thrown in the afternoon. For Sunday/days off, it can be started at 10.00 in the morning. If there are little children at home, Superparents need to consider the safe place for them.

2. Deciding The Site

Where should the party be thrown? Parties will have its advantages and disadvantages related to where it is held. To have the party at home, in addition to cost effectiveness, you will have more chance to get closer with everyone. The downside is, a long duration party can be overwhelming. However, to have the party outside, with the benefit of less bothering chores, Superparents need to reach deeper into the pocket. To have a garden party, weather is a factor to consider. Superparents also can choose to hire kids party organizer.

3. Working on The Number

Have a priority scale for invitation. It’s all about the funding. On top of the list is of course family, second ones are Superkids’ friends. Even with kids party organizer, we still need to decide how many guests to invite, the table service and stuffs to attend to.

4. Dish Service

Pay a good attention on the dish service. Party menu should have cakes, main dishes and dessert. For the drink, choose either hot or cold drink. If the party takes time, you may want to think of extra food and drink.

5. Creating Invitation, Souvenir, Decoration and Party Entertainments

If the party is private, with some creativity Superparents, you can make the invitation yourself perhaps by combining various colors and many kinds of paper. Use your imagination to make attractive stuffs. In addition, think of activities for everyone, some entertainment, music, games, clown and storytelling can be powerful alternatives.

6. Plan a Working Schedule

Create a list of invitation 2-3 weeks ahead and send the invitation 7-10 days ahead. Establish a committee and plan a schedule for everyone to make sure the party is better planned. If Supermom needs catering or even organizer, you should contact them at least three weeks before the party. If not, write down everything you need and make a shopping list.
