A Man and Desert Creature
One day, while wandering around, a man arrived at the end of the desert. He was walking on the sand, when suddenly a beastly creature came out of nowhere cutting his way off. The man had never seen such creature in his life. It had very long skinny legs, a massive hump and ridiculously long neck. The beast reached its long head to the man, who instantly lost it and ran away.
The next day, the man saw the creature again. it was standing by the river, drinking from it. This time, the man grew amaze of what he was looking at. The creature put its head into the water, seeping water non stop.
Aware of being noticed, the monstrous creature rose its head up, staring directly into the man’s eyes across. This time, the man kept his legs where they were, feeling safe with the river separating them. the man just staring at the creature in awe and it made no attempt to approach as well.
In the upcoming weeks, the man came across more of the similar creature. In fact, it seemed that this animal invested the desert, walking calmly around. The longer he kept them around, the man came to realize that the animal was vegetarian. Beside, even with such big body, the animals were so gentle.
And the most amazing was the endurance of the animals. They were able to walk across desert and still in shape.
So the man came into an idea. “If I could just tame this animal and make it carries my luggage, I can make this desert my home.”
So, one day when a pack of the animals were relaxing, the man approached one, climbed it on and put a reins on its mouth. So, the man was wondering around the desert, riding it. He didn’t forget to put so many things on it’s hump. It didn’t take long before he let his son joined him.
There it went, the man managed to tame a creature he feared at first. Until this day, the animal is still very loyal to human. It helps human a great deal and is called ‘desert boat’. Any idea what that is? Yes, it’s a camel.
