Fisherman and the Little Fish

Today is apparently not a lucky day for a fisherman. He went out to sea since morning, but no fish eat the bait. Fisherman do not despair. He sail further to get the fish. Result is the same. After a day of fishing and preparing to go home, finally there is a fish caught in the hook.

That’s not the fish that will be sold at a high price. Also not a fish that would make his wife and children to eat until satiated. The fish was very small. Although disappointed, fisherman still put it  into a bucket to take home. Not far away from the coast, he suddenly heard a soft voice from inside the bucket. Well, it turns out that was small fish voice.

“Kind sir, please release me,” pleaded the little fish. “I’m too small for you to eat now. If you restore me to the sea, i will soon grow large. Then, you can make a fine meal off me,” continued wooing fish. What is the fisherman’s answer?

“No, no, my little fish. I have you now. I may not catch you hereafter,” He said firmly. He closed the bucket and bring the little fish back into the house. A little thing in hand is worth more than a freat thing in prospect.
