When the Rain Suddenly Comes

Naomi the bear was born under the crescent moon. Bears believed that would make Naomi became a non decisive bear that has too much to consider. Just check how fuzzy she was one afternoon when about to go out. Naomi was planning to drop by to a bike store to have her bell changed. Just when she was about to ride her bike, it was raining suddenly.

It was no more than some small drops. “But what if it gets bigger when i’m on the road?” she was thinking. She rushed into the house for un umbrella. Naomi had six umbrellas, it took her a while to decide which one suit her. She removed the bell and planning on going on foot with the bell. But something crossed her mind. Ahh, she would need a jacket to walk all the way in the rain. So she went back into the house, stood there in front of the wardrobe staring at her coats for five minutes, before she picked up the magenta.

At the door, again something flashed to her mind. Boots! How her feet can stay dried without them? So she dove into her shoe racks, looking for a pair of green tosca plastic boots, she last wore them two weeks ago. The rain got bigger and still Naomi felt something was amiss. She opened her drawer to find some glove and hat. But it got bigger. Naomi was sure, the rain coat would prevent her from splashes on her way.

Now she was all set. Red rain coat, blue umbrella, green boots, magenta knitted jacket, yellow gloves and brown hat, it’s all perfect. She rushed to the door but… it’s not done yet. The sky above Naomi was already cleared. There was no drop, no dark cloud. Poor Naomi, that’s what thinking too long has gotten her, while the rain and the sun couldn’t possibly wait that long. Now she is puzzled again; should she take it all off one by one or keep them on and went out there? “Who knew it might rain again…” she said to herself.
