A Bear and Two Adventurers
Johan and Harry were two adventurers on their way entering the woods. They came to halt upon the appearance of a huge bear out of nowhere. Facing the great threat, the two turned around and run as fast as they could.
Oh poor Harry. His leg was tangled on creeping vines of a big tree and fell to the ground. While Johan moved fast to climb the tree right above him. Afraid of being eaten by the bear, Harry played dead. He knew bear only attacks moving things.
The bear drew closer and eventually sniffed him around. Harry held his breath firmly. The bear sniffed him all over, from hair to toe. Eventually, it moved away, thinking the prey was already dead.
When the bear had gone, Johan climbed down the tree. Half joking, he asked Harry. “Hey, what did the bear tell you when whispering to your ear?” Harry, on the other hand, didn’t take it as a joke. “The Bear said, never go with a friend who will leave you when in trouble. Never again!” said Harry in sharp tone.
A good friend will always be there, in better or worse.
